Sabu Says He Can’t Stand Up Straight Due To Broken Back

Sabu sacrificed his body for pro wrestling throughout his entire career. He was known as the suicidal, homicidal, genocidal maniac for a reason. Now, in the later years of his career, he also doesn’t look the same thanks to those injuries.

We recenlty heard from Sabu after he was rushed to the hospital. It was not noted exactly what his issue was, but he seems to be doing much better now.

One fan logged onto Twitter where they posed a very simple question after seeing a newer photo of Sabu standing next to Hook. They said, “has Sabu shrunk? I met him once in London, Ontario, he looked much bigger than.”

Sabu saw this tweet, and he had to fire back with a reply. The ECW legend explained that he can’t stand up straight anymore, because he has a broken back.

My back is broken .. it’s difficult to stand straight up .

thanks for making me feel Self conscious about it….lol

Sabu also fired back a follow-up to say, “Oh, and I lost 40lbs.” It seems that he’s gone through quite a physical transformation process.

Although Sabu was able to clap back at this fan, it doesn’t mean he is 100% yet. Hopefully, his back will heal itself, but he’s been through so much damage in his pro wrestling career that he’s really lucky to be able to walk at all. Plenty of pro wrestlers are wheelchair bound for the rest of their lives, and they didn’t put nearly the same abuse on their bodies that Sabu did during his career.
