Sammy Guevara had a big night at Double or Nothing, and his entrance was very special as well. Alongside his wife Tay Melo, they revealed that a baby is on the way. Now we know that upcoming bundle of joy’s gender.
After tying the knot in August of last year, Sammy Guevara and Tay Melo have delightful news to share as they anticipate the arrival of their first child. This is obviously an exciting time for their fans as well.
The couple revealed the pregnancy during last month’s AEW Double or Nothing pay-per-view, just moments before Guevara’s thrilling participation in a Four Pillars match against the reigning World Heavyweight Champion, MJF, along with Darby Allin and “Jungle Boy” Jack Perry. Despite MJF retaining the title, the atmosphere was filled with joyous anticipation.
In a recent interview with TMZ Sports, Melo expressed her concerns about the audience’s reaction to the announcement, fearing possible boos. However, the fans responded with warmth and excitement, embracing the couple’s happiness.
To celebrate Tay Melo’s 28th birthday, Guevara shared a heartwarming gender reveal video on his YouTube channel. Filmed on Friday, the couple discovered that they are expecting a baby girl, adding an extra dose of joy and anticipation to their growing family.
This is happy news for AEW fans, and the entire pro wrestling world. We’ll have to see how long it takes for Tay Melo to make it back to the ring, but she is preparing for a very special day coming up soon enough before that.
