Kenny Omega Can’t Believe He Walked Out Unscathed After Botched V-Trigger Spot In Steel Cage Match

Kenny Omega is one of the biggest stars in AEW and has already reached the top of the mountain in the company. He is now part of the most compelling storyline in AEW after getting betrayed by Don Callis. That said, it appears Omega still can’t believe he walked out unscathed after his botched V-Trigger during his steel cage match against Jon Moxley.

Kenny Omega and Jon Moxley battled in a steel cage match in the main event of AEW Dynamite last month. In a shocking turn of events, Don Callis betrayed Kenny Omega, allowing Jon Moxley to pick up the win.

During the match, one of the biggest spots in the match saw Kenny Omega hitting the V-Trigger on Jon Moxley, which saw them crashing through the steel cage. It turned out to be a botched spot as Omega narrowly avoided serious injury on the ropes.

While speaking to Muscle & Fitness, Kenny Omega admitted that he was ‘bewildered’ that he was able to walk away from that unscathed after the botched V-Trigger spot during the match.

I’m still bewildered over how it was that I walked away from that one. I just let it happen and I think, somehow, because nothing was going against the grain, or fighting against this odd happening, I miraculously ended up OK.

At AEW Double Or Nothing, the main event saw The Elite facing off against The Blackpool Combat Club in the Anarchy In The Arena match. The Elite lost the match after Konosuke Takeshita betrayed Kenny Omega, leading The Blackpool Combat Club to pick up the win.

Kenny Omega hinted at bringing a couple of his friends outside AEW to face the BCC after the match. We will have to wait and see how The Elite’s current feud with The Blackpool Combat Club will progress.
