Pat McAfee’s Actual Annual Income For Massive ESPN Deal Revealed

Pat McAfee is renowned as highly talented and imaginative figure in the WWE. He wasted no time in becoming an instant fixture of Friday Night Smackdown alongside Michael Cole. He might not be involved with WWE right now thanks to his ESPN deal, but fans love him nonetheless. Now it appears his actual annual income has been revealed.

A year ago, McAfee became a regular on ESPN’s “College GameDay” in addition to his college football alt-broadcasts with Peyton Manning’s Omaha Productions for ESPN. His ESPN duties made him leave his position as color commentator on Friday Night Smackdown.

He was last seen on WWE television during the Royal Rumble and has been absent since. In the meantime, the former NFL punter made sure to sign lucrative deal with ESPN, which was a major thing for him.

According to a report by Andrew Marchand of the New York Post, Pat McAfee’s deal is for $85 million for five years, seeing him be paid $17 million every year. Naturally, this is a huge deal for him.

“I will be paying my people and we will be producing the show fully,” McAfee said over DM. “[ESPN] will be handling a lot more of the backend stuff, while also providing a platform that is incomparable linear wise with a network of talent that is deep and awesome. Their production assets, league rights capabilities, and access to everything in the sports world makes us incredibly pumped about the possibilities and can’t wait to get started this fall.”

Pat McAfee also took a shot at AEW Double Or Nothing for their empty seats. Regardless, McAfee is thriving in his career right now and that is all that matters to him at the moment.
