It has been over four years since AEW’s inception and the company has seen a lot of growth. The company recently announced AEW Collision, which will be debuting on June 17th, signalling the return of Saturday night shows. That said, it seems that AEW wrestlers are anxious about changing schedules because of AEW Collision.

AEW will hold the debut episode of Collision at the United Center in Chicago. While there has been no official announcement that CM Punk will be present during the show, all signs point toward him returning during the debut episode.

AEW Collision is also rumored to introduce a brand split, which is likely due to CM Punk’s drama with The Elite after AEW All Out last year. It was stated that the nature of the roster split “changes every day and will continue to change until the show is on the air.”

While speaking on his The Extreme Life of Matt Hardy podcast, Matt Hardy stated that members of the AEW roster are anxious about schedule changes because of AEW Collision.

People want to plan vacations and family time and trips and whatnot and it’s kind of tricky because as of now everybody kind of has to leave everything open.

So, I’ll be happy when Collision gets here and they kind of have really a good lock on what roster is on Dynamite and what roster is on Collision, there’ll be some guys that float back and forth.

Quite a few top talent will be part of AEW Collision, including the likes of FTR, Thunder Rosa, Andrade El Idolo and more. Only time will tell whether AEW Collision’s debut will end up becoming a success.

What’s your view on what Matt Hardy said? Do you think AEW Collision will be a success? Let us know in the comments!
