Alicia Fox quietly departed from WWE, and now she is calling her own shots. That being said, her pro wrestling career might not be over either.

During an interview on Muscle Man Malcom’s YouTube channel, former WWE wrestler Melina had a special guest appearance by Alicia Fox, who recently parted ways with WWE. The interview took an interesting turn when Fox responded to a claim suggesting that she had retired from professional wrestling.

“The machine said that, I never said that…I didn’t put my face on that alumni (page). I didn’t do that. I never said that. My bags are still packed, I’m still pissed about it.”

“This is what I’m going to do. I’m going to knock the ring rust off with Booker T (at his school). I talked to Booker and Sharmell. We’re going to knock down the forbidden door. We’ll go to Trinity’s house and then we’ll go to Sasha’s house. We’ll show up at Booker’s. Sharmell already said we can come. I texted them last week. I’ll go there to the secret spot. Then we’re going to spread out to these forbidden doors and knock out the windows. Either door gets obliviated. If it’s a forbidden house, where is everybody?”

During his Hall of Fame podcast, Booker T opened up a bit about Alcia Fox. In fact, he confirmed her previous statement in a big way.

Booker T then confirmed that he has spoken to Alicia Fox, and she is interested in getting in the ring to “knock the ring rust off.” Only time will tell if this will lead to even more activity in the squared circle.

“I talked to Alicia Fox yesterday. She wants to come down and knock some of the rust off at Reality of Wrestling and get a little bit of insight and knowledge as far as what this journey may be like that she’s getting ready to partake in. My thing is there is so much more outside of WWE, outside of AEW, and IMPACT Wrestling. This business is plentiful. The thing is, you can be working every week somewhere in this business because that’s how much work is out there, and then to find your way back to that spot, and that spot may not be WWE. It might be IMPACT. It might be AEW. You never know. It might be Japan. You just never know. It’s all about putting the work in more than anything, and when someone like Alicia Fox, she went straight into WWE. She didn’t do any independent shows. It’s almost like Cody Rhodes.”

“Cody didn’t have any independent wrestling experience before he went into the WWE. Then he realized that perhaps something he needed was that worldly experience. Then he went out there and got it and look at him now. It seems like every guy that’s gone out there and done that, they have come back a better person. Alicia, I’m not sure how much longer she plans on being in the business or anything like that, but if she’s going to stick around for a while, why not make the best of it and try to make some good money at the same time. You never know where it’s going to take you. It may take you straight to Hollywood. I’m going to try to get her into Summer of Champions.”

Alicia Fox was involved in situation that led to Arn Anderson being fired from WWE. She wrestled a six-woman tag team match while drunk, and Arn was released because he produced the match and let her go out there. It is still debatable about who knew what in that situation, but Fox didn’t wrestle for WWE much after that.

We will have to see if Alicia Fox ends up in another company. AEW is always looking for people with WWE credentials that they can bring in, so Foxy might just be on their radar. At least we know that she is interested in getting between the ropes again.
