CM Punk’s name has made several headlines over the past week or so, mainly because his name was not included in AEW’s announcement for their new Collision show. Although his in-ring future is up in the air again, it looks like he’s getting jacked just in case.

The Second City Savior dropped a social media post to show off a bit. He’s been working out, and posting sweaty Instagram stories, along with a plethora of images of his television while hockey games are on. This is nothing new for CM Punk, but he is certainly looking jacked.

AEW might have sent out a legal letter to Punk that could encourage him to make a return, even if Ace Steel isn’t allowed on the road. AEW actually re-hired Ace Steel a while ago.

Ace Steel was the sticking point with CM Punk, because AEW was willing to re-hire Steel, but he wasn’t allowed in the building for their television taping events. This is what caused CM Punk to pull out of the agreement.

Only time will tell if CM Punk makes his way back to AEW. He certainly has a lot of eyes on him. The big determining factor will be Tony Khan’s announcement tonight on AEW Dynamite.

AEW literally stacked the Collision roster to accommodate CM Punk. Danhausen is pretty much the only friend of Punk’s who wasn’t on the Collision poster, because everyone else on the poster including FTR, Thunder Rosa, The House of Black, and Andrade El Idolo are all very cool with CM Punk. Then MJF replaced Punk on that graphic before the Warner Bros Discovery upfronts.

If TK announces any city other than Chicago for Collision’s debut episode, then things with CM Punk are at a point where things just aren’t going to work out in time for the June 17th debut.

What’s your take on CM Punk screwing with AEW Collision? Sound Tony Khan have expected this? Sound off in the comments!
