AEW has a lot of fans who love rocking merchandise wherever they go. That being said, trends are always bound to die out, and it seems that The Acclaimed might need a bit of a new boost to get them back on top.

AEW’s merchandise got a lot of attention over the last week, but it wasn’t in the best way. A t-shirt of Britt Baker’s black eye didn’t go over too well when the general public took a look at it.

The Wrestling Observer Newsletter noted that The Acclaimed, who were formerly huge merchandise movers for AEW, have slipped out of the top five sellers. It is also interesting to note that Britt Baker isn’t on that list, even after her controversial t-shirt went viral.

AEW merch sellers for the past week were AEW (in general), Hardys, Julia Hart, Eddie Kingston and FTR, which is most notable because of the decline of The Acclaimed who had been at or near the top for a long time. At PW Tees, the top five were AEW, Danhausen, Hardys, Jeff Hardy and Kingston

The Acclaimed are still one of the hottest acts in AEW, with a huge pop coming their way whenever they come out. That being said, their fans might have already bought up all the merchandise they want at this point.

We’ll have to see if AEW pumps out more winning Acclaimed merchandise. If anything, Anthony Bowens and Max Caster’s momentum on AEW television doesn’t seem negatively effected.

What’s your take on The Acclaimed’s spot on the AEW roster? Do you think they’re one of the best teams working today? Sound off in the comments!
