Darby Allin is one of AEW’s pillars, having no television exposure before Tony Khan put him on television. Although WWE has never signed Allin, that doesn’t mean fans don’t want him to sign things with a WWE logo on them.

After AEW Dynamite this week, one young fan caught Darby Allin at ringside for an autograph. Then Allin was given a toy WWE title belt to sign. This caused quite a dilemma for the skater turned pro wrestler.

Darby Allin took a very long moment to consider his options after that fan handed him a WWE Title replica. Allin knew that he had a lot of attention on him, and he used that moment of contemplation to stretch things out for comedic timing as he seriously weighed his options.

Suddenly, Darby Allin shrugged and signed the title anyway. This was quite a funny moment that was captured on camera. Fans at ringside also had a good laugh about it.

Odds are, Darby Allin won’t get in any trouble for this at all. After all, he’s probably signed a lot of things that had nothing to do with AEW. That being said, he certainly made the most of this moment at an AEW show when he was given a WWE toy to sign.

Darby Allin might have the AEW Title over his shoulder soon enough. He is booked in a main event match for that tile against MJF, Jungle Boy, and Sammy Guevara at Double or Nothing on May 28th.

You can check out the video below to see Darby Allin’s priceless reaction. Thankfully, he signed the title anyway, like any good babyface should.
