Cameron Grimes, a former NXT superstar, is set to make his WWE SmackDown in-ring debut next week on May 12. The announcement was made during the latest episode of SmackDown.

During a backstage segment with Adam Pearce, Grimes appeared without any significant character details noted in his costuming. Despite not being portrayed as a millionaire, he did come face to face with another formerly blessed star – Baron Corbin.

Upon meeting Grimes, Corbin immediately picked a fight with the new star from NXT. It is not yet clear what this feud will entail, but fans are excited to see what these two wrestlers bring to the ring.

In addition to Grimes’ debut, next week’s SmackDown will also feature a match for the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship. Bayley and Dakota Kai will challenge Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez for the titles.
