CM Punk is known to surprise fans with his random activities, and this was no exception. Plenty of people were surprised to see that he was backstage at recent Impact Wrestling television taping, and now we have a first-hand account from Jordynne Grace about the encounter.

CM Punk had a great time backstage at Impact Wrestling. Unlike WWE, they didn’t kick him out when he showed up in Chicago. In fact, CM Punk also played game of Uno with some of the talent.

During a virtual signing for K & S WrestleFest, Jordynne Grace went into her time backstage with CM Punk a bit. Their interaction during the Impact Wrestling event was brief, but she had the courage to at least ask for a photo. Thankfully she did, because that photo went viral.

“We (myself & CM Punk) didn’t hang out at all. It took me like half-an-hour just to muster up, what is it called? The courage to ask him to take a photo so we didn’t really have a conversation.

“He just said that I’m bigger than him, I have bigger arms than him and I was like, ‘Thank you sir.’

AEW is expected to bring CM Punk back to television soon. He is reportedly going to be the face of the company’s upcoming Saturday television show.

CM Punk is not likely to get turned away at any pro wrestling event if he wants backstage. WWE is probably the only exception, because it seems that CM Punk was nothing but nice and great to be around during his brief visit backstage at Impact Wrestling.
