Vince McMahon muscled his way back into WWE by way of a corporate takeover. Then he ushered in a company sale, which resulted in a merger with the UFC after Endeavor took over the situation. Mr. McMahon has given his notes to change WWE programming in recent weeks, but this time it seems he took a step back.

Sean Sapp noted behind Fightful’s paywall that Vince McMahon was not at RAW this week. He did not make the trip to Arkansas for the red brand’s show, but it was not noted whether he gave any creative notes.

Vince McMahon has a say in big creative decisions, but he promised not to get “in the weeds.” Mr. McMahon certainly got his hands dirty during the RAW after WrestleMania, and a few WWE Superstars said that they were prepared to submit their release requests after his performance.

We’ll have to see if Vince McMahon comes in and takes over WWE creative once again. Triple H is still the Chief Creative Officer for the company, and Mr. McMahon obviously has faith in his son-in-law.
