Ex Long-Time WWE Staffer’s New AEW Job Title Revealed

AEW has hired several people who used to work for WWE, but few had the internal know-how that Adam Hopkins possessed. Now, the former long-time WWE staffer is with AEW.

WWE shocked the pro wrestling world when they fired Adam Hopkins from his Vice President of Communications position. Hopkins was well-known even outside WWE for his ability to interact with the press and handle a lot of situations like conference calls and other media relations.

The Wrestling Observer Newsletter got the scoop on Adam Hopkins’ new job title in AEW. It turns out that he won’t have to change a lot about his business cards, because his job title is pretty much the same with Tony Khan’s company.

Adam Hopkins was fired from WWE this week after 25 years with the company. He was president of communications for the company, and many were surprised to see him go. He was also Triple H guy, someone who was close with The Game as they worked together many times over the years.

We will have to see how implementing Adam Hopkins might change AEW’s internal structure. He has a ton of experience, and it would be wise if they listened to everything he has to say. Adam Hopkins can also help Tony Khan’s company navigate the waters of public controversy, because Hopkins displayed an innate ability of putting out fires while he worked for Vince McMahon.
