WWE Superstars can offer a lot to the pro wrestling world, even if they’re not actively competing in the ring. Some have the knowledge and passion to train others, and WWE is taking full advantage of one former star’s ability.

Wesley Blake is a former NXT Tag Team Champion, but he never got a lot of luck on the WWE main roster. The former Forgotten Son was released from his contract, and he’s been doing his own thing since then.

Sean Sapp noted behind Fightful’s paywall that Wesley Blake has been coaching at the WWE Performance Center in recent memory. He is getting in there and training students. He was just a guest coach before, but it’s unknown if the “guest” part of that changed.

We’re told that Westin Blake, the former Wesley Blake, is involved in coaching/training wrestlers now. He guest coached at the WWE Performance Center last year.

This is great news to hear about Wesley Blake, because he’s been through a really tough time recently. His wife, and other of his three children, Sara Lee, recently tragically passed away. Our thoughts are still with him and his family during this terrible time.

Hopefully, much better days are ahead for Wesley Blake as he gets his foot back in the door with WWE. He can provide a lot of insight as he coaches Superstars of tomorrow at the WWE Performance Center.
