WWE Tough Enough winner Sara Lee tragically passed away in October 2022. She left behind 3 children and husband, Wesley Blake. Now, fans are getting a bit more clarity about what might have happened.

PEOPLE.com posted an update on Sara Lee’s situation, and what might have contributed to her passing at only 30-years-old. Sadly, it seems that alcohol might have contributed to the situation.

An “insider” gave People notes on Sara Lee’s situation, where it was reported that she was drinking very heavily the night she passed away. Then she was found by her husband, but it was already too late.

The insider says Lee “was heavily drinking [the night she died]” and was later found by her husband Cory James Weston (who goes by the ring name Westin Blake).

“He [Westin] had just come back from working in Orlando. He took the kids somewhere and came back and found her. It was sudden.” The source adds, “It wasn’t intentional and it was accidental.”

Lee was “never that person you would think would do this,” according to the insider. “There were never any signs.”

Sara Lee won the first season of Tough Enough in 2015. As a result, she won a $250,000 WWE contract. She went on to wrestle for WWE a bit, but it never transitioned into a main roster contract.

Our thoughts are with Sara Lee’s ‘family and friends right now. It cannot be easy losing someone like that in their life, and now this new report has to dig up some very terrible emotions. Hopefully, the good memories they have of Sara Lee will live on.
