Ex WWE Manager Dutch Mantel Questions Why He’s Not Allowed To Criticize Transgender People

Dutch Mantel has a history of speaking his mind, and this time he had quite a question for his followers. The transgender community might also leap on this tweet, as he questioned why it’s not okay to criticize them.

The transgender movement has gained a lot of momentum and attention in recent memory. Still, there are those who are pushing back against their quest for equality.

Rick Steiner just saw massive public controversy after Gisele Shaw came forward with story about him hurling misgerndering and transphobic remarks at her. He was banned from WrestleCon after that, but he has not given any public statement on the matter yet.

Dutch Mantell logged onto Twitter today, and he had quite a question to ask. He wondered why he can’t criticize the transgender community without his DMs exploding with hateful replies.

Why is it that I post something about TRANS people and immediately I’m DM’ed by haters calling me a bigot. Same with abortion. Or my view on 2ND Amendment. Damn, am I allowed to have an opinion anymore? Even when I talk wrestling, it’s still bitch time.

This tweet generated quite a reaction so far. Some fans are on Dutch’s side, but it’s only a matter of time before his DMs start exploding once again, but that should probably be expected.
