WWE held their biggest show of the year over the weekend, and WrestleMania was followed by a very controversial RAW. Vince McMahon showed up and hacked the script into pieces, even changing things as the show was live. Now we are looking forward to SmackDown, and how the blue brand will go after Vince McMahon’s return to control.

Triple H was relegated to busy work on RAW this week, because Vince McMahon took over. Now, we are getting closer to SmackDown, and there is hope that things will go back to the way they were before.

Sean Sapp noted behind his paywall that there are higher-ups in WWE who hope that SmackDown sees a return to the way Triple H ran the show. Obviously, that change as Vince McMahon wedged his way into the things was noticed.

Higher ups that we spoke to Thursday believed and hoped that Smackdown would return to the version of the show we saw since Triple H took over.

Vince McMahon initially said he wasn’t going to get “in the weeds,” but that’s not the case. After everything was said and done on RAW this week, top Superstars are considering their release requests. Hopefully, they are able to correct the ship.

What’s your take on this situation with Vince McMahon’s WWE return? Is he going to ruin WWE? Sound off in the comments!
