Vince McMahon showed up to WWE RAW this week and chaos erupted. He hacked up the script and even changed the show in the middle of the show. A lot of fans were concerned that he would repeat this activity on SmackDown, but it seems that he might have pumped the brakes on that a bit.

PW Insider dropped a report behind their paywall that confirmed Vince McMahon did not make the trip to Portland for SmackDown this week. Ringside News’ exclusive report earlier today stated that he wasn’t there yet, and it appears that he isn’t coming.

That being said, Vince McMahon looked over the SmackDown plans for this week “remotely.” It was not noted what was changed, but McMahon did make minor alterations, but it was reported that he didn’t change anything major about tonight’s broadcast.

Ringside News exclusively reported that Vince McMahon was not going to undercut Triple H on SmackDown. We were told that Vince McMahon is not meeting with writers. Also, “he doesn’t go the writers and undercut Triple H.” Obviously, this is a new situation that everyone is adjusting to.

Vince McMahon’s return to WWE brought on a sense of worry, because you never know what can happen next. The fact that he changed RAW so dramatically naturally made everyone a bit nervous.

As we exclusively reported, Endeavor is well aware that fans don’t want to see Vince McMahon back in WWE. They have a multi-billion dollar merger to think about, so Mr. McMahon isn’t going anywhere.

What’s your take on Vince McMahon’s return to WWE? Will SmackDown be a better show this week without him around? Sound off in the comments!
