Possible Spoiler: Absent WWE Superstar In Town Ahead of Tonight’s RAW

Matt Riddle, who was written off TV in December after failing a drug test, could be returning to WWE television soon, according to reports.

PWInsider Elite has reports that Riddle is currently in Los Angeles ahead of tonight’s WWE RAW but it remains to be seen whether he will make his return on the show. As of this writing, there has been no confirmation of Riddle’s appearance on WWE’s part, but he was not seen backstage at WrestleMania 39 over the weekend.

Riddle was expected to go to rehab after failing the drug test, and he later confirmed that he had done so. However, last week it was reported that there had been a creative pitch for Riddle’s return and there was speculation that he would be joining the RAW brand.

If Riddle does make a surprise return on tonight’s WWE RAW, it would be in keeping with WWE’s tradition of having post-WrestleMania shows filled with surprises and major announcements.
