Bray Wyatt was supposed to have a match at WrestleMania 39 against Bobby Lashley but something unfortunate happened, as Bray Wyatt was removed from the road to WrestleMania due to an undisclosed illness. It seems that Bray versus is not happening after all at Mania.

Ringside News exclusively reported that Bray Wyatt’s WrestleMania 39 status is up in the air internally amid his continued absence from the road to WrestleMania 39. The former WWE Champion was supposed to appear on all WWE SmackDowns on the road to WrestleMania, but his illness got in the way.

WWE aired another commercial for WrestleMania 39 during RAW tonight. The promotional video hyped up Edge versus Finn Balor, Dominik versus Rey, Roman Reigns versus Cody Rhodes and the Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championship bout between, but no Wyatt versus Lashley.

Bray Wyatt was recently spotted in public amid his WWE absence, where he took selfie with a fan. WWE approached Brock Lesnar with the idea of facing Bray Wyatt at Mania, but The Beast turned the pitch down because he didn’t want to look like cartoon character.

Fans even spotted Bray Wyatt’s Easter Egg on a WrestleMania poster last Monday on RAW. Wyatt’s render was shown below the official Logan Paul versus Seth Rollins match poster that popped up before The Maverick’s Impaulsive TV segment on the red brand.

Bray Wyatt’s WrestleMania status has most definitely puzzled the WWE Universe. It remains to be seen if Bray Wyatt will appear on the biggest show of the year as he’s a big attraction for the WWE Universe. As for Lashley, The Almighty will compete in the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal this Friday on SmackDown.

Do you think Bray Wyatt will show up at WrestleMania 39? How would you’ve booked Bray Wyatt on the road to Mania? Sound off in the comments!
