Taya Valkyrie is a household name in the world of pro wrestling with multiple accolades on her resume. Taya has competed in promotions such as IMPACT Wrestling, Lucha Libre AAA Worldwide and Lucha Underground. It seems that the former Knockouts World Champion is done with Impact Wrestling.

Taya Valkyrie made her long-awaited AEW debut in her home country of Canada on the March 15, 2023, episode of Wednesday Night Dynamite. The veteran confronted Jade Cargill after her successful title defense and 54th consecutive win in AEW. After Jade had left the ring, Taya laid out Leila Grey with a Road to Valhalla.

IMPACT Wrestling wrote off Taya from television on the latest episode of IMPACT on AXS TV. The former IMPACT Knockouts Tag Team Champion was trapped in a casket with the lid sealed shut. Taya took to Instagram after the angle to thank her fans for the support.

Well, what can I say. To the men and women of @impactwrestling, you’ve been such an enormous part of life for the last 6 years. You’ve all had such a huge part in picking me up when I’m down, being my biggest cheerleaders and truly proving that sometimes, family is chosen. I love each and everyone of you. Thank you for welcoming me back, thank you for helping me rediscover myself when I was truly broken and allowing me to just be me. Death DoIlz, our bond is one that can never be broken. The last year with you two has been a highlight of my career and I owe you both the world. It’s not goodbye, it’s just see you all down the road. -Kira
