TNA Wrestling recorded the May 16, 2024 episode of Impact at the Albany Armory in Albany, New York on Saturday. Here are the spoiler results from the show:

Ash By Elegance, accompanied by her Personal Concierge, George Iceman, emerged victorious over Xia Brookside. Following the bout, Elegance and Personal Concierge demanded Brookside’s submission and the presentation of the rings. Yet, Brookside turned the tables, using the rings to incapacitate Elegance instead.

Leon Slater triumphed over Alan Angels, with the match overshadowed by the referee’s recurring cough, culminating in his replacement after coughing up ink—a peculiar parallel to KUSHIDA’s earlier experience at an Xplosion taping.

Post-match, Kon assaulted Angels, only for Slater to intervene and thwart the attack.

Gabby LaSpisa conducted an interview with Jake Something, delving into the significance of his name. Something recounted his journey from being dismissed to embracing his identity, expressing frustration over Deaner’s role in his recent string of losses. Deaner attempted reconciliation, revealing their familial connection, but received a clothesline for his efforts.

In a showdown between Frankie Kazarian and Steve Maclin, The Rascalz intervened, with Wentz using spray paint to incapacitate Maclin.

The night culminated in a 16-person Champions vs. Contenders match, with Matt Hardy, Ryan Nemeth, Eric Young, Joe Hendry, Sami Callihan, Steph De Lander, and Spitfire (Jody Threat & Dani Luna) prevailing over Moose, Eddie Edwards, Laredo Kid, Jordynne Grace, Alisha Edwards, and Masha Slamovich.

The closing moments saw PCO’s romantic gesture toward De Lander, with Hardy jesting about “PC-Romeo and Juliet” and Young expressing gratitude to the audience before the event concluded.

This concluded the tapings for this episode.
