WWE has a lot of plans on the road to WrestleMania, but the big question is what the company will do with the aftermath following the show of shows. WWE apparently has a plan for when the dust settles, so this might be a bit of a spoiler warning for you.

During Wrestling Observer Radio, Bryan Alvarez and Dave Meltzer discussed the current road to WrestleMania. This included Alvarez mentioning the segment between Cody Rhodes and Roman Reigns on WWE RAW this week.

“I will say this, from watching the Friday show and watching this segment here, it is clear… from watching these two shows is that they have a post-Mania plan.

Dave Meltzer confirmed that idea. He did not elaborate further, but the Wrestling Observer Newsletter writer did say, “They have a year of post-Mania plans.”

Bryan Alvarez went on to say, “This is not something where we’re gonna do Mania and then the creative team, Hunter and Vince and whoever is going to wake up and be ‘what the f*ck are we gonna do now?’”

We will have to see what happens in WWE as the road to WrestleMania. Obviously, there is a lot to unpack, and the entire landscape could change during the showcase of the immortals this year.

Of course, everything in WWE could change if the company is sold. The current projection is that will go down sometime in the middle of this year, and it appears that they are on track to make that happen.

What’s your take on WWE’s WrestleMania direction? Do you think Roman Reigns will still be the top dog after the show of shows? Sound off in the comments!
