Mick Foley is already a WWE Hall of Famer, but he’s always welcome at the event. The yearly ceremony has been kept under wraps this year, and the company hasn’t revealed any names. That being said, the company is working on things.

WWE doesn’t have to sell a ticket for the WWE Hall of Fame this year. This year’s ceremony will take place after SmackDown, so fans will get a two-for deal with their ticket for the blue brand’s go-home show before WrestleMania.

Mick Foley did not reveal who called him, but he did receive a call about giving someone their induction this year. He seemed quite surprised to hear from this person too, after not having any contact with them in a long time.

“I received a text message from someone I’d had no contact with in a while, years and years, asking if I would induct them into the WWE Hall of Fame. As this plays out, we will see. There’s always a chance that request will be denied, but I know this person responded back to WWE that I was in.

As of this moment, I’m counting on being there at the Hall of Fame to induct this person. I’m not going to tell you who it is, but we will all find out together or if it’s ixnayed. I’ll let you know at that juncture in time. I’ll let you know after the Hall of Fame who it was that asked me, but it was a daymaker for sure. Someone who had many different options and asked me, so I was really flattered, readily accepted, and we will see how that comes to pass, if it comes to pass.”

We will have to see who Triple H is able to nail down for the 2023 WWE Hall of Fame. There are a lot of people that he could choose, and he could also decide a completely different route.

A lot of things are changing in WWE, and fans are seeing that with Triple H’s transition into power. Only time will tell who gets 2023 WWE Hall of Fame inductions, but the company is coming along with plans for the event, whoever they are getting for the show.

Who would you induct into the WWE Hall of Fame? Sound off in the comments!
