Chris Jericho is an undisputed veteran of professional wrestling, having dedicated over three decades of his life to the sport. His extensive experience has undoubtedly given him a keen sense of his own worth within the industry. Jericho recently made it clear he doesn’t want to return to WWE. That being said, it seems Jim Cornette believes Jericho will return to WWE for the Hall Of Fame.

Prior to joining AEW, Chris Jericho had competed in nearly every major professional wrestling company, including WCW, WWE, and NJPW, among others. He particularly gained widespread recognition and acclaim during his tenure in WWE.

Chris Jericho joined AEW in January 2019 following his departure from WWE in 2018 and subsequent return to NJPW. That being said, fans wonder if he will ever return to WWE again.

While speaking on his Drive-Thru podcast, Jim Cornette talked about Chris Jericho’s recent comments about not going to WWE. Cornette stated that he believes Jericho will return to WWE for the Hall Of Fame.

“He’ll be back. At whatever point that Jericho is contractually free, then he will go back to the WWE because they’ll induct him into the Hall of Fame.”

Cornette acknowledged that Jericho’s in-ring opportunities may be restricted if he were to make a comeback, and that Jericho appears content in his current role with AEW. Despite this, the polarizing wrestling figure maintains that we haven’t seen the last of Jericho in WWE. We’ll have to see whether Jericho will return to WWE somewhere down the line.
