Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods are coming off a short run as NXT Tag Team Champions. During their time on the NXT brand, they were able to work with some stellar up-and-coming tag teams. He was just getting positioned back into things on the road to WrestleMania, but this might hold up plans.

Kofi Kingston was involved in a segment on SmackDown this week with Sheamus, Drew McIntyre, Karrion Kross, and LA Knight. That will all lead to a 5-way match to determine GUNTHER’s #1 contender for the IC Title.
