GUNTHER has been on an unstoppable run as the WWE Intercontinental Champion ever since he won the title from Ricochet on the June 10, 2022, episode of Friday Night SmackDown. Next week, the Ring General will get to know who will be his next opponent for the championship.

WWE announced that Kofi Kingston, LA Knight, Karrion Kross, Drew McIntyre, and Sheamus will collide in a fatal five-way match to in an Intercontinental Championship qualifying match-up. The match was booked after a huge brawl that transpired between the five men on SmackDown tonight.
