Naomi hasn’t competed in WWE since May 2022 after her and Mercedes Mone’s famous walkout. While there have been a lot of speculation about her return, and now a recent announcement indicates that she might be done with WWE.

WWE contracted performers are majorly not allowed to make outside appearances without their approval. Therefore, appearing at conventions is not a thing that WWE Superstars do unless it is officially endorsed.

It was recently announced by Wrestle Con on Twitter that Naomi will be appearing at their convention event week, from March 30th to April 2nd, 2023.

“It’s Feel the Glow Friday! Welcome to WrestleCon! @NaomiWWE.”

Naomi has not appeared for any other pro wrestling company since her WWE walkout. Sasha Banks did make her NJPW debut as Mercedes Mone and had an immediate impact on the wrestling world. Naomi is still yet to return to the wrestling world as of this writing.

Moreover, with this recent announcement, it looks like Naomi’s no longer under contract with WWE, or at least she won’t be under a WWE deal by the time her WrestleCon appearance rolls around. Now, Trinity Fatu might be able to pursue her ring aspirations someplace else. Whether that happens or not, we will have to wait and see.
