Naomi Seemingly Makes Name Change Official During WWE Absence

Naomi is a true veteran in WWE’s women’s division with many accolades under her belt, such as the SmackDown Women’s Championship. However, she hasn’t been in WWE since May 2022. While she remains absent from WWE television, it seems Naomi dropped a huge hint about her future.

Earlier reports suggested that Naomi was still weighing her decision regarding WWE return. It was later reported that Naomi is set to appear at Wrestle Kingdom 17 alongside Sasha Banks.

While Banks debuted in NJPW as Mercedes Mone and immediately made an impact, Naomi has yet to do anything in the meantime, except for the fact she changed up her look while ago.

Naomi recently updated her Instagram bio, where she seems to be fully embracing her real name, Trinity Fatu. Her profile contains no link to WWE, the only reference being that the company name appears in her Twitter handle.

Naomi, or Trinity’s, last televised appearance came on the May 13th episode of SmackDown where alongside Sasha Banks, the two defended their Women’s Tag Team Titles against Natalya and Shayna Baszler. We’ll have to wait and see what will become of Naomi.
