William Regal’s road back to WWE included a pit stop in AEW after Vince McMahon fired him. Triple H promptly brought his friend back into the fold, and he is now a Vice President in the company. That being said, William Regal has a lot to do in WWE this time around.

William Regal is not allowed to appear on WWE television for an entire year, which was something Tony Khan made sure was part of his release. That being said, there is still a lot for Lord Regal to do around WWE.

PW Insider reported some new details about William Regal’s new role in WWE as the Vice President of Global Talent Development. He is at every television taping, even though he stays away from in front of the camera.

William Regal is at every show, and he meets with wrestlers after matches to give them advice. His goal is to make WWE Superstars’ matches, “look stronger and more realistic from an in-ring perspective, including notes and suggestions on how talents can improve their selling, physicality during locking up and reversals, etc.”

William Regal is able to influence WWE without being a part of the television storylines. We will have to see how many times he gets credit in the months to come for the input he is able to provide.
