Gene Snitsky made his debut in WWE back in 2004 and had a memorable run in WWE, but for all the wrong reasons. This included the time he punted a baby doll into the air back in 2006 and many other instances. In fact, Snitsky was supposed to be a massive heel in WWE’s version of ECW.

Gene Snitsky also tired back in 2018 and since then, has largely kept himself busy in other ventures that do not necessarily have anything to do with the world of professional wrestling.

Gene Snitsky was a wrestler on the WWE roster for five years, starting in 2003. He gained notoriety for his involvement in a controversial storyline with Kane and Lita, where he was depicted punting a baby as part of a miscarriage angle.

However, in 2007, Snitsky underwent a character transformation when he joined the “WWE ECW” brand. He adopted a new persona, characterized by disgusting yellow teeth and erratic behavior, which was intended to turn him into a menacing heel.

While speaking on Monday Mailbag w/ Mike Chioda, Snitsky talked about his time in WWE. The former WWE Superstar revealed that he was supposed to be a massive heel in WWE’s version of ECW after he yellowed his teeth.

“I just remember Vince [McMahon] coming to me,” Snitsky said. “‘Hey, man. You’re doing such a great job for us. I’m going to move you to ECW and we’re going to have you like, just be this killer heel. But, I want you to go shave all your hair off and go see the makeup lady and do something with your teeth to make them look like, dirty and grimy.

I’ve got all these guys I’m just mowing over and then — I don’t know, three, four, five months later or whatever it was — Stephanie stops me in the hall. ‘Hey, Gene, my dad just loves what you’re doing on ECW. We’re going to draft you back to Raw’ … I don’t understand it then, I don’t understand it now.”

He was eventually released by the end of 2008. Gene Snitsky is happy with his current life and will always be appreciative of his time in WWE and that is all that matters now.
