Shawn Michaels Appears During WWE NXT In Backstage Confrontation

Shawn Michaels had an illustrious career that saw him win multiple titles and main event multiple WrestleManias. The Heartbreak Kid was named senior vice president of talent development creative in September 2022. Tonight, he appeared in a backstage confrontation with a top NXT superstar.

Tonight’s edition of WWE NXT kicked off with a match between Tyler Bate and Grayson Waller. The arrogant Aussie made his return to the white and gold brand after a week of suspension. Waller, however, failed to celebrate his return in a big way as he lost to the Big Strong Boy.

NXT cameras then showed Waller engaged in a heated argument with Shawn Michaels backstage. The 2022 Men’s Iron Survivor Challenge called his boss a “stooge.” An irate Michaels yelled that Waller be removed from the gorilla and ordered the production to cut to break.

This is the second confrontation between Waller and Michaels in two weeks. The arrogant Aussie interrupted Michaels’ media call after his loss to Bron Breakker in the main event of NXT Vengeance Day premium live event. Waller was removed from all NXT events for week as a result of his actions.

Things have certainly gotten interesting between Shawn Michaels and Grayson Waller. It remains to be what how will the Heartbreak Kid react to Waller’s latest actions. Stay tuned to Ringside News for more from the pro wrestling.
