Grayson Waller was unable to win the NXT Title from Bron Breakker at NXT Vengeance Day, and he wasn’t happy about it at all. Following the show, he also had something to say to Shawn Michaels about it.

Shawn Michaels does media calls following every WWE NXT event. During those calls, he will field questions for the media. He did not expect for someone from his locker room to have questions for him at all.

Grayson Waller bombarded Shawn Michaels to ask why he’s not “the guy.” Then Grayson Waller proceeded to call out the NXT locker room as a place filled by “fans.”

Waller also made a crack that he needed to act like a fanboy for HBK to show him any favoritism. There were some real frustrations brewing, and it looks like Grayson Waller was tired of waiting to make his point.

Matt Bloom lead Grayson Waller out as he mockingly called him “A-Train,” a reference to Bloom’s WWE days. After Grayson Waller left, the conference continued, but it was seriously tense for a moment.

WWE went ahead and released footage from that Zoom call for fans. It’s unclear if this was planned, but that’s likely the case. After all, it is certainly a part of the storylines now that the company shared it on Twitter.

We’ll have to see what happens next in this situation. If anything, it certainly means that the NXT conference calls with Shawn Michaels are not off limits regarding carrying on with the story.
