Jerry Jarrett Passes Away At 80-Years-Old

The pro wrestling world lost a great man as Jerry Jarrett has passed away at the age of 80. Father of Jeff Jarrett, and instrumental in several historic pro wrestling moments, Jerry Jarrett left a true legacy behind him.

Dutch Mantell was the first to break the news that Jerry Jarrett has passed away. At this time, we do not know the cause of his death, but he was surrounded by family. He was battling cancer prior to his passing.

SAD NEWS: I’m hearing reports of my friend and long time booker/promoter Jerry Jarrett died this morning in TN. I last saw him last year when we did the VICE show THE TERRITORIES in Atlanta. Very creative booker. Condolences to Jeff/Deborah and the Jarrett family.

This is very new information, and we’re sure that the flood of well-wished and condolences will come flooding in for the Jarrett Family. A true legend passed away today, but his memory and all the contributions he made to the pro wrestling world will live on.
