Mia Yim had a lot of potential in WWE, especially seeing how she had a solid run in NXT. However, that was all derailed after she was called up to the main roster. She was eventually released from WWE after the company had nothing for her following Retribution’s split. She is back now and has been dropping male WWE Superstars. Yim also revealed what male WWE Superstars think of Intergender wrestling.

Mia Yim returned last year and joined The O.C. and made an immediate impact. This was more apparent during her feud with Judgment Day, where she got physical with the men.

The merits of intergender wrestling have been up for debate for years. WWE has largely shied way from such matches but now seen to be warming up to the idea.

While speaking to Wrestling Inc., Mia Yim talked about Intergender wrestling. Yim made it clear that she absolutely loves it.

“I love it. Intergender wrestling has been a part of me for as long as I’ve … since I’ve started. I’ve been doing it for years. And even just the little stuff, it might not be what I used to do in the independents or in Impact, but just the little stuff, it just means so much to me that I get to go with the boys and hang with them.

Mia Yim was then asked about what male WWE Superstars feel about Intergender wrestling becoming a thing in the future. Yim stated that they are just as excited, if not more.

“They’re just excited, if not more than us.”

Mia Yim previously bodyslammed Finn Balor as well. WWE might inch closer to intergender matches, but don’t expect a full dive into the genre, especially with all of their family-friend advertisers. We will have to wait and see what WWE has in store for Mia Yim in the coming weeks.
