During Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer explained that WWE is changing up their plan for WrestleMania. Cody Rhodes was initially supposed to go after only one of Roman Reigns’ titles, but the company is not creating a new title at this point in time.

“The key to this is that they are not creating a new championship on the Saturday night show. Yeah, they were talking about doing a second title on Saturday night.”

“If it was Roman and The Rock, then they were going to create a championship on Saturday night that Cody would have probably ended up winning. But, it was Cody, Drew, or Rollins that was gonna come out of that one. They were creating a second one, because they want to go back to two titles.”

Cody Rhodes explained during RAW this week that he is going to take both of Roman Reigns’ championships. Only time will tell how it all ends up, but it seems that Cody Rhodes isn’t going to pick just one title to go after at this point.

The road to WrestleMania is always full of big events and newsworthy angles. Only time will tell what everyone is talking about on April 3rd when the dust settles after the massive two-day event.
