Dabba-Kato was turned into Apollo Crews’ personal bodyguard during their stint on the main roster. Kato appeared on RAW Underground as well. Tonight, the big man made his return to the white and gold brand as well.
Dabba-Kato made his in-ring return during the latest episode of NXT tonight. The big man squared off against upstart Dante Chen in singles competition. Dabba-Kato got the win. He provided his post-match comments as well.
“Apollo Crews knows what he did. That’s why I dropped his a**.”
For those wondering, the former Commander Azeez made his surprise return this past Saturday at NXT Vengeance Day. Dabba-Kato interfered during Apollo Crews’ 2-out-of-3 Falls match against Carmelo Hayes.
Kato took out Trick Williams, but failed to prevent Carmelo Hayes from getting the decisive fall. Kato entered the ring to lift a fallen Apollo Crews after the match. The two hugged before Kato took out his former mentor with a headbutt. He then planted Apollo Crews with a slam onto a steel chair.
