The media scrum following AEW All Out event ended in turmoil after CM Punk unleashed a scathing attack on Colt Cabana, Page, and The Young Bucks, verbally lashing out at all parties involved. This incident caused significant damage to Punk’s reputation, and the repercussions have been felt throughout AEW since then. That being said, Jake Hager doesn’t look at the brawl negatively.

CM Punk has been on the sidelines since his injury at All Out, requiring surgery for a triceps injury. He is currently in the midst of his recovery. Although some fans may not be excited about the possibility of his return to AEW, others are eagerly awaiting the return of the “Second City Saint” to the ring.

In spite of the fact that many people want CM Punk to never step foot inside a pro wrestling ring ever again, a lot of fans and even pro wrestlers have nothing but great things to say about Punk.

While speaking on Story Time with Dutch Mantell, Jake Hager was asked about AEW Brawl and the incident between Punk and The Elite. Hager made it clear he doesn’t look at the brawl negatively.

“I’m sure I can, but I don’t really want to,” he said when asked if he could talk about what happened. “Who knows how animosity builds and how lack of communication leads to certain things. I think it all stems from how you view things. Obviously, one person in that party was viewing things so negatively and I don’t think he was correct.”

CM Punk is also back at the gym while he still recovers from surgery. Only time will tell whether CM Punk will be making his return to AEW television, as it seems unlikely right now.
