The AEW All Out media scrum ended in chaos after CM Punk went on a scathing rant on Colt Cabana, Page, and The Young Bucks, verbally attacking everyone involved. Punk’s reputation took a nose dive following this incident and things have not been the same for AEW ever since the incident. That being said, it seems CM Punk is making good progress on his recovery while he remains absent from AEW television.

CM Punk has been out of action since All Out as he injured his triceps. He underwent surgery for the condition and is currently on the road to recovery. While many fans don’t want to see him back in AEW, there are still those who want to see The Second City Saint compete again inside the squared circle.

The former AEW World Champion took to his Instagram story and uploaded a photo of himself in the gym, showing off some heavy dumbbells. Naturally, this is a very good sign for Punk’s recovery progress.

Despite his recovery, Eric Bischoff believes CM Punk has wrestled his last match in AEW. Only time will tell whether CM Punk will end up returning to AEW television this year.
