“The thing I wanted my whole career, a moment like that. I don’t think he’ll mind me telling you guys, I talked to Randy Orton last night, and I was at the Royal Rumble at the very end, Triple H, Randy Orton, and myself. Triple H eliminated me, and then Randy Orton eliminated him, and that caused him to win the Royal Rumble, and he brought us in the ring. I was just sitting on the floor, stay small, he brought us in the ring. I thought to myself, ‘I wanna be that guy,’ and then I thought ‘that’ll be next year,’ and here we are it’s been over 10 years. The thing I’ve been missing that I don’t take for granted is hat somehow I connected with people. Maybe in 2015 when I took my excursion. Because I have the honor and the burden, that I don’t play anybody, I’m me. Tonight me was good enough, and that feels good.”

Cody Rhodes entered the Royal Rumble match at number 30. He last eliminated GUNTHER, who broke the record for the most time spent in a traditional Royal Rumble, to win the match.
