Brie and Nikki Bella are a force to be reckoned with in the world of WWE. As Hall of Famers, they have made a lasting impression on the company since their debut in 2008. Their popularity among fans has cemented their place in the history of the WWE. However, they remain humble and grateful for the trailblazing women who came before them and paved the way for their success. The Bellas also missed out on RAW this week. Now it seems a former WWE writer has shut down rumors about The Bellas not appearing for RAW Is XXX this past week.

This week’s episode of Monday Night RAW celebrated the 30th anniversary of WWE’s flagship show. There were quite a few notable absences from the show, especially when it came to female legends.

Nikki and Brie Bella have expressed their disappointment with the lack of representation of women legends in the recent WWE event. Despite the event being three hours long, the presence of female wrestlers was minimal, and the highly anticipated steel cage match between Becky Lynch and Bayley had to be cut due to time constraints, which has sparked frustration among fans.

While speaking on his Wrestling With Freddie podcast, former WWE writer Freddie Prinze Jr. shut down rumors that The Bellas turned down the appearance. He confirmed the Bellas’ story that WWE simply had nothing for them, which is why they booked a press event for their upcoming E! Network show

“The Bellas have been accused of pulling out of the ‘Raw XXX’ celebration, and because of that, we didn’t have much of a women’s revolution represented on the show, but we did have a little. I would say The Bellas would refute that, as they had press events, and I know this because my wife was in New York doing press, and they were doing all the same shows she was doing.”

Prinze Jr.’s wife, Sarah Michelle Gellar, is also doing a press tour for her new Paramount+ show, “Wolf Pack.” This game him that inside info.

This led to the #WWEWomenDeserveBetter trending on social media, something that Nikki Bella herself addressed. We will have to see what’s next for WWE’s Women’s Division. Triple H tried to do more for the division, but there is still a lot left to be done by the looks of it.
