It should be a big night as WWE continues its build toward January 28th’s Royal Rumble event. They are running out of time to tell those stories, so it will be interesting to see what they do this week.

Moreover, tonight marks the 30th anniversary of Monday Night RAW and the show promises an exciting night of action. There are a couple of interesting title matches lined up as well as a steel cage match. The updated match card is as follows:

  • WWE RAW Tag Team Championship: The Usos (c) vs. The Judgment Day
  • United States Championship: Austin Theory (c) vs. Bobby Lashley
  • Steel Cage Match: Becky Lynch vs. Bayley
  • The Bloodline Tribal court

WWE RAW Opener:

Hulk Hogan’s theme song plays and he comes out with Jimmy Hart.

Hulk Hogan starts by saying RAW started when HulkaMania was running wild and every week it got bigger. He says tonight we celebrate 30 years of RAW. They get him a new mic. He asks the crowd what they’re gonna do when HulkaMania and RAW run wild.

The opening package for the show airs.

Roman Reigns’ theme song plays and he comes with The Bloodline. There is a table and a couple of chairs in the ring. Roman starts by asking the crowd to acknowledge him.

He says they better get right down to business and he hands the mic to Paul Heyman. They all take their seats. The crowd chants ECW. Heyman starts by introducing himself and he addresses the ECW chants.

He says ECW is dead and he wishes the same for Sami Zayn. He says something in Samoan and calls him a Judas and claims he has been in a conspiracy with Owens since day number one.

Heyman says he has been making them feel like the Philadelphie Eagles’ fans. He then says that this is an open and shut case and he says he has four pieces of footage that show he is guilty.

Exhibit A plays showing Drew and Sheamus jumping The Usos but Sami ran away.

Exhibit B shows Sami who had a chance to hit Owens but didn’t and it cost Jey his match.

Exhibit C shows Sami standing on top of the WarGames cage celebrating the victory

Exhibit D shows Zayn accidentally shoving Roman Reigns as he talks trash to Owens.

Heyman says that was an assassination attempt on Reigns so that he can become The Tribal Chief. He then says he begs the jury to find Zayn guilty as charged. He then rests his case.

Sami then stands up and starts by saying he had a whole defense all lined up but the one thing he didn’t count on is his feelings. He says that listening to Paul say all those things about him hurt him so much.

He asks how they can think that after all this time. He says after everything that’s gone on the fact that they would put him on trial to defend himself that hurts. He then says his defense is that he has no defense.

Roman is surprised and says that he has so much ego he won’t even fight for this and questions if this is the respect he shows. He then screams Solo’s name and he approaches Sami. As Solo goes for he Samoan spike, Jey Uso stops him.

He says no disrespect but put together his own footage.

Exhibit A shows Riddle hit Jey with the RKO and Jimmy hit the splash for the pin while Roman’s theme song played. Later, it was revealed that ZAyn was behind that.

Exhibit B shows Zayn taking the Claymore for Reigns.

Exhibit C shows Drew attack Solo but Zayn takes a chair show for him

Exhibit D shows Zyan help The Uso win a match by holding back Sheamus

Exhibit E shows Owens pinning Reigns but is stopped by Zayn who then low blows and hits the Boot in the corner helping his team win.

Jey says the proof is right there for the whole world to see that Zayn has taken so many bullets for The Bloodline. Jey says everybody knows he despised him but Zayn never gave up on him and that’s what family does.

He says that the tape demonstrates loyalty to the family and he says he loves Jey and asks if they want Zayn in The Bloodline to raise their ones. Both of The Usos raise their hands.

Roman stands and says that as the Head of the Table, he finds Zayn not guilty for now and he asks Sami to thank Jey for buying him more time. Roman ask him to finish up tonight and he doesn’t want to see or hear from him till The Royal Rumble and that is where he will deliver his final test and after that they will see if he is The Bloodline.

RAW Tag Team Championship: The Usos (c) vs. The Judgment Day

The Judgment Day’s theme song plays and the group walks out to the ring.

The match starts with Priest and Jimmy Uso. Priest gets sent out of the ring. Jimmy goes for dive but Priest moves out of the way. Dominik is attcked by Jimmy but Priest launches him over the announcer’s desk. He tags in Dominik who continues to attack Jimmy.

He tags out and Priest continues to attack Jimmy. Jimmy fights back with a clothesline. Both men tag out and Jey attacks Dominik. He hits the Samoan Drop. Jey hits the hip attack. Cover! 1…2..kick out. Jey with an enzuigiri. Dominik tags out.

Jey tags out out and The Usos double team Priest. Cover! 1..2..kick out. Priest attacks both members in the corner. He hits the broken arrown on Jey and hits the rope but is caught with a superkick. He hits one of his own and dives onto both Usos.

Priest with a clothesline. Cover! 1…2..kick out. Dominik tags in. Priest lifts up Jimmy and Dominik dives on him. Cover! 1..2..kick out. Dominik tags out and Priest tires to lift him up but Jimmy escapes and The Usos hit the double superkicks against Priest and Dominik. Cover! 1…2..kick out.

Jey climbs the top rope but Finn trips him. The referee sees it and ejects him from the match. Jey then goes for the splash but Priest gets his knees up. Cover! 1..2.kick out.

Jey superkicks Priest and tags out. Jimmy hits the splash. Cover! 1…2….kick out. Jimmy dives onto Priest. Jimmy looks hurt. He is unable to stand up. Jimmy is helped to the back. Pierce comes out and says if he cannot continue then they must forfeit the match and the tag team championship. Zayn says that maybe there is a solution. He then says he can tag in and defend the tag team championships against The Judgment Day.

Pierce agrees to allow Sami to tag in the match. They get back in the match and brawls with Judgment Day. Both members are sent outside. Sami dives onto Priest and Dominik. He sends Dominik in the ring. Priest holds his leg and DOminik rolls him up but can’t get the win.

Sami with an exploder suplex. He goes for the Helluva kick but Rhea Ripley distracts the referee and Priest hist the South of Heaven. Cover! 1…2..kick out. Dominik goes for 619 but is caught with a superkick.

Jey then hits Priest with a superkick. Rhe distracts him and it allows Dominik to hit 619 followed by a splash. Cover! 1…2..Zayn makes the save.

Sami tags in and Jey hits the superkick. They then hit 1D for the win.

Winner: Sami Zayn and Jey Uso (c)

Reigns is backstage and he tells Heyman that he doesn’t want to see Zayn till Saturday.

JBL and Baron Corbin is backstage and they run into The Godfather. He says Baron isn’t on the list. He asks to speak to the owner who happens to be Ron Simmons. He says he wants to get Baron into the poker list. Ron says there isn’t anything they can. Corbin offers him money and they agree to let him in.

LA Knight is in the ring. He says that Bray brought back the firefly funhouse and mocks it. He says that Bray is living on past glory. He insults the legends for living on past glory. He then challenges any legend to come out and face him.

The Undertaker’s theme music hit and he walks down to the ring. The crowd chant Undertaker. LA Knight says he agrees that the locker room is filled with softies like Bray but he isn’t one of them.

He then mocks Taker. He says he will give him a pass and let him live another day and enjoy retirement. He then asks him to watch the Pitch Black Match. The lights go out and Bray Wyatt’s music plays. He appears behind LA Knight who retreats to towards the ring.

Knight gets in the ring and Undertaker catches him as Bray enters the ring. He sends him into Bray who hits Sister Abigail. They both stare at each other. Taker whispers something to him and leaves.

During the poker game, Gable folds while Otis is in. DDP calls and Madusa wins the round but she is stopped by DDP who has a straight flush.

Steel Cage Match: Becky Lynch vs. Bayley

Bayley’s theme song plays and she walks to the ring. Becky Lynch’s theme song plays and she walks out to the ring.

*Commercial break*

Dakota Kai and IYO SKY attacks Lynch before the match. They send her into the cage. They all get in the ring and lock the cage. They proceed to attack Lynch.

Adam Pierce comes out to ask them to open the door. They cut through the lock as Damage CTRL climb the cage.

Winner; No Contest

DX’s theme song plays and the group come out to the ring. Road Digg starts by saying the more things change the more they stay the same and he says his usual intro. He turns around and Kurt is in the ring.

Kurt says he always wanted to be in DX and he removes his shirt to reveal a DX t-shirt underneath. Shawn says he has to pass a test. Triple H asks if he is ready and Kurt asks if that is the test.

Triple H then asks the crowd if they are ready. He then proceeds to do his catchphrase but is interrupted by Imperium. Ludwig Kaiser says it’s a shame on them and Gunther insults DX for making a mockery of this sport.

He says they are going to kick them out of his ring. Triple H says he is retired. Shawn says he is too old. X-Pac and Road Dogg say they aren’t going to fight him. They have a group huddle and look towards Kurt. Triple H says Kurt will fight them but Angle says no.

Triple H says he wishes there was someone who was willing to fight them. Seth Rollins’ theme song plays and he comes out. X-Pac says there is one of them and three of Imperium and if only there was a team to even the score.

The Street Profits theme song hit and they come out to the ring. Shawn says they need someone to make things official. Triple H says this booking stuff isn’t easy and if there was someone who could come out and make sense of this situation.

Teddy Long’s theme song plays and he comes out and says that he has the perfect idea and says Imperium will face The Street Profits and Seth Rollins in a six-man tag team match. Shawn says they need a special referee. They huddle and Kurt says he has an idea but they don’t listen.

Kurt then removes his shirt to reveal a referee shirt. Triple H says Kurt will be the referee for the match as Shawn says his catchphrase.

*Commercial break*

Seth Rollins and Street Profits vs. Imperium

Seth Rollins starts the match with Vinci. Vinci has a headlock on Rollins. Rollins fights back with a clothesline and tags out. Vinci chops Ford. Vinci with a clothesline to Ford. He tags out and Kaiser attacks Ford.

Kaiser attacks Ford in the corner. Ford fights back and tags out and they double team Kaiser. Dawkins with a right hand to Kaiser and both men tag out. Gunther sends Rollins to the apron but he headbutts him and goes for a springboard knee but Gunther chops him down.

*Commercial break*

Seth fights back against Kaiser with a clothesline and he tags out. Ford attacks Vinci with vicious chops and follows it with a clothesline. Ford goes for the ankle lock. Kaiser comes in and Dawkins locks in the Ankle lock. Vinci tags in Gunther who attacks both men and gets into Angle’s face. Kurt shoves him and Rollins attacks Gunther. Dawkins and Ford dive onto Imperium. Seth hits the rope but is stopped by Gunther who then hits the dropkick followed by a powerbomb. Cover! 1…2..kick out.

Gunther goes for a German suplex but Seth lands on his feet and hits enzuigiri followed by a superkick and an Angle Slam. Both men tag out and Vinci attacks Ford. Kaiser climbs up but Rollins stops him and hits the superplex and he set up him for the suepr block buster.

Gunther goes for the powerbomb but Rollins hits pedigree. Dawkins with a spinebuster on Vinci and Ford with a splash. Seth hits The Stomp for the win.

Winner: Seth Rollins & The Street Profits

Ted DiBiase loses to Baron in a poker game. They are asked to pay their taxes and he collect all their winnings. Ron Simmons says his catchphrase.

Cathy Kelley interviews Bobby Lashley who says that the No Disqualification Match meant Theory can’t keep his title by getting disqualified. He says he should’ve been champion if it weren’t for Brock but he dealt with him. He says he is going to defeat Theory.

MVP interrupts and says Lashley is going to hurt Theory and take back his US Championship and they can celebrate. Lashley says he doesn’t need his or Omos’ help to win the title and he will handle his business.

Ric Flair’s theme song plays and he comes out. He starts by saying they are making history celebrating 30 years of RAW. He then says diamonds are forever and so in RAW. He states that the greatest gift WWE gave him is to watch his daughter exceed his goals.

He says he is honored to introduce Charlotte Flair. Charlotte’s theme song plays and she comes out.

She starts by saying they revolutionized women’s wrestling and where she evolved into a 14-time Women’s Champion. She says Monday Night RAW will always be her home. Bianca Belair’s theme song plays and she comes out to the ring.

Bianca starts by saying she respects everything Charlotte has done for this business but she goes here now and RAW is her show and home. She does everything to make sure RAW is the greatest show.

Sonya Deville’s music plays and she comes out and says that they don’t realize what an historic night. She asks if it was necessary to fly Ric out just to introduce her. She says that people don’t tune in to watch Belair.

Sonya says she used to run this show as RAW GM. She asks for recognition. Charlotte says this is Bianca’s show and asks her to handle Sonya. Bianca agrees to face Sonya.

*Commercial break*

Bianca Belair vs. Sonya Deville

The match starts and Sonya is knocked down. Belair attacks Sonya in the corner. Sonya regains control using Bianca’s hair. Sonya attacks Belair in the corner.

Belair with a backbreaker and a moonsault. Cover! 1…2…kick out. Belair sends Sonya outside. Sonya kicks her into the barricade.

*Commercial break*

Belair goes for a moonsault but Sonya gets her knees up. She then kicks Belair. Cover! 1…..2…..kick out. Bianca recovers and hits KOD for the win.

Winner: Bianca Belair

Belair gets on the mic and says what she did to Sonya is only a preview of what she is going to do to Alexa Bliss. She also says that Bliss can bring Uncle Howdy and Bray Wyatt but she will walk out as champion.

Alexa Bliss is on the titantron and says she is her only obstacle. She says she doesn’t need any one to tear her face open. She then says she will walk out as champion.

Cody Rhodes video package plays.

*Commercial break*

The Miz is in the ring and he asks where is Miz TV and his championship match and all of his moments. He says he is the first ever grand slam champion in WWE history. Kevin Owens comes out and hits him with a stunner.

He then takes the mic and says that Roman is guilty of having held the WWE Universal Title hostage for over two years and at The Royal Rumble, he promises that he will do everything he can to beat Roman Reigns and give everyone a champion he can be proud of.

He says he will keep fighting and he will take the title from Reigns or he will die trying. Miz gets up but Owens hits him with another stunner.

No Disqualification Match for the United States Champion: Austin Theory (c) vs. Bobby Lashley

Austin Theory’s theme song plays and he walks to the ring.

*Commercial break*

Bobby Lashley’s theme song plays and he walks out to the ring.

The match starts and Bobby attacks Theory in the corner. Theory is sent outside the ring. Lashley sends him into the barricade. He then sends Theory into the post.

*Commercial break*

Lahsley goes for a suplex but Theory escapes and hits the dropkick. He then hits a neckbreaker. Cover! 1…2…kick out.

Theory gets a chair and hits Lashley with it. Lashley sends Theory outside again. He goes out but is tripped on the apron. Theory sends Lashley into the ring. He grabs a table and sends it into the ring.

Lashley locks in the hurt lock but Theory escapes and Lashley hits the flatliner and he sends Theory through the chair set up in the corner. Theory crawls under the ring and he grabs an extinguisher and uses it on Lashley before sending him into the steel steps.

*Commercial break*

Lashley with an elbow and he drives Theory to the mat. He is setting Theory for the spear. He goes for it but Theory kicks him. He picks up Lashley but Lashley locks in the hurt lock.

Theory with a low blow but Lashley picks up Theory and drives him through the table. Brock Lesnar’s theme song plays and he enters the ring and hits the F-5 on Lashley. He then does the same to Theory and F-5s Theory on Lashley allowing Theory to win.

Winner: Austin Theory (c)
