WWE Said To Badly Need Cody Rhodes’ To Return To The Ring

Cody Rhodes made his triumphant return to WWE at WrestleMania 38 and put on a match-of-the-year contender with Seth Rollins. The American Nightmare had been on a high roll before an unfortunate injury put him on the shelf for months. Jim Cornette recently said that WWE badly needs Cody Rhodes at this point.

The American Nightmare is set to make his long-awaited return at the Royal Rumble Premium Live Event after being sidelined by a long-term injury. He’ll take part in the 30-Man Rumble Match. Jim Cornette recently spoke about Cody’s return video package that aired on WWE RAW.

Jim Cornette revealed why he liked the special video package on Jim Cornette’s Drive Thru. He went on to say that Rhodes’ ambition would be to win the world title and follow in his father’s footsteps. Cornette went on to say that WWE needs him badly.

This was a package that could have been on any professional sports show to show that one of our top athletes is rehabbing and coming back. So it looks like nothing has changed, they’re gonna bring Cody back with the dream of following in his daddy’s footsteps, winning the title, and boy they need him badly.

According to Vince Russo, Cody Rhodes’ heel turn could be booked at some point in the future. Russo stated on Sportskeeda Wrestling’s Legion of RAW that the involvement of Brandi Rhodes would turn Cody heel.

Cody Rhodes’ most recent WWE match took place inside Hell in Cell against Seth Rollins. With a torn pectoral muscle, The American Nightmare competed and won the match, completing the trilogy with The Visionary. You can watch the video below.
