WWE launched various programs over the years, and Next in Line is one of them. If you haven’t heard of it, then you will see the results soon enough as more cross-over athletes make their way to the WWE main roster from NCAA competition. In fact, WWE seems to have already signed yet another former athlete to NXT in Alexis Gray.

WWE successfully signed Alexis Gray to an NXT contract. Alexis Gray is a former track star at Texas Southern University. She was certainly impressive in her field for a variety of reasons.

According to TFRRS, Alexis Gray ranked second in the 2019 SWAC Outdoor T&F Championships, as she completed a 100-metre dash in just 11.68 seconds. She has also largely been ranked in first place during the Howie Ryan Invitational held in February 2019.

Alexis Gray has already reflected the changes on her official Instagram account, as she now has the tags for both WWE as well as NXT on her handle. In fact, a recent post suggests that she has already taken part in her first NXT photo shoot.

It’s all fun and games till i wanna play too

WWE signed various collegiate athletes because it helps them create a new generation of superstars that are just making it big in their domain and amongst the people around them.

We will have to wait and see how Alexis Gray will fare in NXT, as her athleticism is certain to give her an edge over other female competitors in the NXT women’s locker room.
