Saraya is pioneer in the world of women’s professional wrestling, having achieved great success during her tenure with WWE. Despite this, WWE ultimately decided not to renew her contract, leading her to continue her career with All Elite Wrestling last year. She has been a babyface since her debut in AEW, but it seems that has changed now. Saraya has now given her first comments after her apparent heel turn on AEW Dynamite.

Saraya debuted in AEW a couple of months ago and took the pro wrestling world by storm. She went on to defeat Britt Baker at AEW Full Gear, which was her first match in over five years.

For the past few weeks, Saraya had been teaming up with Toni Storm on AEW television. They even faced off against Britt Baker and Jamie Hayter on Dynamite last week, where they came up short.

As seen on this week’s episode of AEW Dynamite, Saraya was in Toni Storm’s corner for her match against Willow Nightingale. The final moments of the bout saw Storm roll up Nightingale for the win, as she was distracted by Saraya.

Right after that, Saraya and Toni Storm beat down Willow Nightingale until Ruby Soho intervened. Saraya more or less turned heel in the process. Following the conclusion of AEW Dynamite, Saraya took to Twitter and commented on her heel turn by making fun of Hikaru Shida.

Look@shidahikaru doing the opposite of what we want. As per usual

We will have to wait and see how Saraya will be booked as a heel in the coming weeks. For many fans, it felt like a waste as Saraya was proper babyface and was loved by many fans in AEW.
