Tonight’s episode of AEW Dynamite promises another night of exciting action. Bryan Danielson’s quest to become the number one contender continues as he faces Bandido tonight. Darby Allin will defend his TNT Championship against Kushida as well. The match card for the show is as follows:

The opening package for the show airs.

The commentators welcome the audience to the show.

AEW All-Atlantic Championship: Orange Cassidy (c) vs. Jay Lethal

Orange Cassidy’s theme song plays and he comes out to the ring. Jay Lethal’s music hit and he walks out to the ring.

Before the match begins, Jeff Jarrett, Sonjay Dutt, and Satnam Singh come out through the crowd as the crowd boos them. They sit near the ringside.

The match begins and Lethal takes down Cassidy but he escapes. Lethal sends Cassidy out of the ring. Dan Hausen comes out to check their tickets. The best Friends also come through the crowd to sit near ringside.

Cassidy with a suicide dive and sends him into the ring. He goes for the tornado DDT but gets hung up on the top. Lethal then attacks Cassidy. Lethal sends Cassidy out of the ring.

He slams Cassidy into the apron and then sent into the post. Lethal with a suplex. Cover! 1..2…kick out. He then locks in the chin lock. Lethal hits a bodyslam. Lethal climbs the top rope but gets down and goes to the other and Cassidy rolls out of the way. He does the same thing again and Cassidy avoids him again. He goes for the dive off the top rope but is caught by Cassidy and sent into the turnbuckle.

Cassidy climbs the top rope and hits the diving crossbody. He then hits stundog millionaire followed by the tornado DDT. Cover! 1..2..kick out. Cassidy climbs the top rope and dives but is caught with the lethal combination. Lethal goes for Lethal Injection but misses.

Cassidy goes for the Orange Punch but Lethal counters and hits Lethal Injection. Before he could pin him, Cassidy rolls out of the ring. Jarrett tries to pass a guitar to Lethal but Dan Hausen intercepts him and Lethal chases him into the ring. Cassidy rolls him up but can’t get the pin. He then hits Orange Punch for the win.

Winner: Orange Cassidy

Satnam Singh gets in the ring and grabs the Best Friends but Sonjay pleads with him. Jarrett tries to attack Cassidy but is stopped by Sonjay. Cassidy then mocks Sonjay as Lethal holds him back.

The Young Bucks vs. Top Flight

Top Flight’s music hit and they make their way to the ring. The Young Bucks’ theme song plays next and they walk to the ring.

The match starts with Dante Martin and Nick Jackson. Nick knocks down Dante. A stalemate between both men. Dante with a kick and Nick tags out. Matt with a chop on Dante and Darrius tags in. Top Flight tags in and out and keep attacking Matt.

They go for a double suplex on Matt but Nick makes the save and they attack Top Flight with a couple of double-team moves. Matt tags out and Nick continues to attack Dante. Dante fights back but Nick makes the blind tag and Matt attacks Dante with a clothesline.

Matt goes to work on Dante. Matt tags Nick in and Nick bodyslams Dante. He hits the leg drop a couple of times. Nick tags out. Dante goes for a tag but Darrius is swept off the apron.

Nick with a knee-strike bulldog combination on Dante. Nick climbs the top rope and hits the risky business with Matt. Cover! 1…2…kick out. Dante fights back with an arm drag. He tags out and Darrius with a manhattan drop on Matt and a series of punches. He hits the Spanish Fly and hits the suicide dive on Nick.

He then hits the diving cross body on Matt. Darrius attacks Matt. Matt tags out and Nick hits the superkick and Dante tags in. Nick tags out and The Young Bucks attempt Indietaker but are stopped by Top Flight.

Dante with a moonsault on Nick. They hit a power bomb nosedive combo. Cover! 1…2….Nick Jackson makes the save. Dante sent outside and Nick with a facebuster and moonsault combination. He then hits the destroyer on Darrius. Cover! 1..2…kick out.

Nick tags out and Matt picks up Darrius and they hit the Doomsday device. Cover! 1..2…Dante makes the save. He sends the Young Bucks outside and goes to dive onto them but is caught with a pair of superkicks.

The Young Bucks attempt BTE Trigger and miss and Darrius rolls up Matt Jackson for the win.

Winner: Top Flight

*Commercial break*

The Gunns’ music plays and they come out to the ring. They start by claiming to be the best tag team in the world. Austin says last week The Acclaimed embarassed them but they claim to have made them popular as well as champions.

The Acclaimed’s music plays and the come out but are stopped by The Gunns who say they don’t want to hear them rap. Max asks the crowd if they want to hear him freestyle and the crowd cheer. He then asks for Austin’s mic to be shut off and he starts to rhyme.

They get in the ring and brawl with The Gunns. Billy pulls The Gunns off The Acclaimed. He then says he is tired of The Gunns and he asks The Acclaimed to start behaving like tag champs. He then says they will sit and hash things out next week.

Hangman is interviewed by Renee. He says he is feeling fine. He says he feels like with this win he has his word back. Hangman says he understands the nature of wrestling but he made a joke about it and he beat him. If Moxley has anything to say, he can say it to his face. He says he has some tough conversations and he wants to mend some fences.

Renee says Jon will dust himself off again. Hangman wants to send a message to Jon but stops before he can say it.

Jake Hager vs. Ricky Starks

Chris Jericho’s theme song plays and the JAS walk to the ring. Ricky Starks’s music plays next and walks to the ring.

The match starts and Hager starts punching Starks’ midsection. He then knocks down Starks. Ricky fights back with a chop and then walks the rope but is caught. Starks reverses out of it and sends Hager out of the ring.

Hage with a big boot to Starks. Starks sent into the barricade. Matt Menard and Angelo Parker attack Starks while the referee is distracted. Starks is sent back into the ring. Hager attacks Starks in the corner. Hager slams Starks down to the mat.

Angelo Parker takes out a table and set it near ringside. Hager continues to attack Starks in the corner. Starks fights back but it isn’t enough as Hager punches him in the midsection.

Stark fires back with punches of his own in the corner but Hager goes for a powerbomb. Ricky escapes and sends Hager outside the ring. He attacks Menard and Parker and hits the springboard crossbody followed by a clothesline.

Starks with a tornado DDT. Cover! 1..2..kick out. Menard and Parker distract him. Hager accidentally attacks Parker and Starks spears Hager for the win.

Winner: Ricky Starks

Following the match, Sammy and Daniel run out but Starks escapes through the crowd.

Chris Jericho is backstage and says he has arranged a match between Sammy Guevara and Chris vs. Action Andretti and Ricky Starks. Daniel Garcia says he wants to team with Jericho. Sammy says if Daniel can beat Starks on Rampage, then he can have his spot. Jericho then says he will win no matter who is teaming with him

Bryan Danielson vs. Bandido

Bryan Danielson’s theme song plays and he walks to the ring. Bandido’s theme music plays next and comes to the ring.

The match begins and Bryan takes him down. Bryan attacks the leg. Bandido takes Bryan down and locks the Romero special but Bryan escapes and goes for the Romero special and Bryan attacks the knees.

Bryan knocks down Bandido and attempts the sunset flip but Bandido rolls through. Bryan kicks the chest of Bandido but is hit with a hip toss. Bryan escapes out of the ring. Bandido with a suicide dive. He goes back in the ring and dives onto Danielson.

Bandido sends Bryan into the ring. He goes for a springboard move but is kicked by Bryan. Danielson with an uppercut on Bandido. Bryan places Bandido in the tree of woe and kicks him. He then dropkicks him

Bryan locks in Romero special. Bryan attacks Bandido. Bandido plants Bryan into the mat. Both men exchange chops. Bryan with a couple of uppercuts on Bandido. Bandido with a delayed vertical suplex. Cover! 1..2..kick out.

Bandido climbs the top rope and goes for the frog splash but Bryan gets his knees up and he locks in the Labelle lock. Bandido gets to the rope to break the hold. Bryan with a couple of chest kicks. He goes for a head kick but is caught and shoved. Bandido with a knee strike. He goes for the 21 plex but Bryan lands on his feet and trips him but Bandido reverses into a pinfall attempt. 1…2…kick out.

Bandido sent outside and Bryan with a dropkick. He then hits the jumping knee. He sends Bandido into the ring and climbs the rope but is stopped. Bandido slams him to the and hits 21 Plex. Cover! 1…2…kick out.

Both men exchange strikes in the ring. Bandido with a thrust kick. He goes for the brainbuster but Bryan counters and tries to lock in Labelle lock but Bandido escapes. Bryan hits the Busaiku knee for the win.

Winner: Bandido

MJF is on the titantron and he says he is underappreciated. He says that everyone has forgotten who he is and how he became World Champion. He says that Bryan has only been dealing with masked Max and the closer he gets to their match, the more his mask will slip off and he warns that Bryan doesn’t want that.

He says that the dragon is no match for the monster behind the mask.

Saraya calls Shida stupid for throwing the kendo stick in the ring. Toni defends Shida but calls her a homegrown girl and says she doesn’t know better. Saraya warns Shida to stay behind.

*Commercial break*

Renee interviews Brian Cage backstage. He is interrupted by MJF who tells him he has more money than they have seen and he asks them to break his arm. He slaps Brian who grabs his collar. Brian grabs his collar but is reminded of the cash. MJF asks him to use that hate next week.

Toni Storm vs. Willow Nightingale

Toni Storm’s music plays and she comes to the ring with Saraya. Willow Nightingale’s theme song hit and she comes to the ring.

The match begins and Storm with a headlock takedown. Willow knocks her down. She then hits the Back suplex followed by a crossbody. Toni slaps her and kicks her. Toni with a hip attack sends her to the floor.

Shida comes out with a kendo stick. Storm sends Nightingale into the barricade. Willow beats the 10-count. Storm continues to attack Willow. Storm goes to work on Willow. Willow fights back with a lariat and a kick. She then hits the spinebuster. Cover! 1…2….kick out.

Willow with a dropkick from the middle rope. She goes the cannonball but misses. Storm then hits the hip attack. Willow with the pounce. She hits the cannonball. Cover! 1…2….kick out. Saray gets on the apron and distracts Willow. Toni Storm rolls her up for the win.

Winner: Toni Storm

Following the match, Saraya and Storm attack Willow. Ruby Soho comes to her aid.

Stokeley Hathaway says it’s embarrassing they lost to Jungle Boy and Hook. Ethan says he will get payback this Friday.

Konosuke is interviewed backstage. He says he loves wrestling Bryan and he learned a lot and he will watch Bryan’s back because he doesn’t trust MJF.

TNT Championship Open Challenge: Darby Allin (c) vs. Kushida

Kushida’s them song plays first and he comes to the ring. Darby Allin’s music plays and he walks to the ring.

Kushida takes down Allin with the hammerlock. Darby escapes it and locks a hammerlock of his own. He then knocks down Kushida.

Kushida takes down Darby and works the ankle. Kushida with a hip toss dropkick sending him outside. He goes after him but is sent into the barricade.

As Darby gets back in the ring, Kushida kicks him. Kushida attacks Darby in the corner. Kushida with a forearm and goes for the Pele kick but is caught and Darby hits code red. Cover! 1..2..kick out.

Darby dives onto the guys from the LA dojo. Kushida attacks the arm of Darby. Kushida with a palm strike. Cover! 1…2…kick out. Kushida goes to work on Darby. Kushida keeps working the arm of Darby.

Both men exchange chops Darby with vicious strikes but Kushida hits the crossbody followed by the Pele kick. He goes for a springboard move but is caught by Darby who hits the Scorpion Death Drop.

Kushida with a diving knee strike on Darby’s shoulder. Darby fights back and shits the over-the-top stunner. Darby picks up a chair and places it. He places Kushida on it. Darby climbs the rope and and dives but is caught and Darby with the arm bar.

Kushida gets back in the ring. Kushida slams Darby from the top rope. Kushida attempts the hoverboard lock. The LA Dojo guys offer a towel to Sting to throw in the towel but Sting wipes his sweat and throws it away.

Darby escapes and rolls him up for the win.

Winner: Darby Allin

Following the match, both men shake hands in a show of sportsmanship.
