The Usos are the current Undisputed WWE Tag Team Champions, but that might not last much longer. Jimmy Uso and Jey Uso aligned themselves with Roman Reigns to establish The Bloodline and have been in his corner ever since. The original title plan for the twins was recently revealed, and the Usos weren’t supposed to hold those titles for so long at all.

Dave Meltzer discussed on Wrestling Observer Radio the possibility that the tag and main titles are going to be unified. He was asked, “was it the tag titles or was it the main titles where it kept being insisted that they were not gonna be unified, they were not gonna be unified, they were not gonna be unified…and then they were unified.” To which Dave confirmed that, “the tag titles were not going to be unified.”

Dave Meltzer went on to explain that the belts were unified because Randy Orton’s career was on the verge of ending. He stated that Riddle and Orton were simply going to remain as Raw champions. However, because Orton was not present, they chose The Usos to hold both belts.

Riddle and Orton were just gonna stay at as the Raw champions, but there was gonna be no more Orton, he pretty much finished up after losing that title. So without Riddle and Orton RK-BRO who are hot team…they just went with The Usos to hold both belts.

As previously reported, The Usos were once told they looked too similar to Roman Reigns, being his cousins. Obviously, that family resemblance paid off.

WWE RAW got off to a fast start this week with The Bloodline making an appearance. Roman Reigns, Paul Heyman, Sami Zayn, Jimmy Uso, Jey Uso, and Solo Sikoa are among the talents in the stable, albeit only half of them have appeared on the red brand this week.

The Usos and Solo Sikoa opened Monday Night RAW with a verbal brawl with Judgement Day’s Finn Balor, Dominik Mysterio, Damian Priest, and Rhea Ripley. The revelation that The Bloodline will be at RAW 30 next week was an interesting note that came out of the segment. We will have to see if the Usos are still The Ones when RAW’s 30th Anniversary is over. To get the latest updates, keep an eye on Ringside News.
