Jay Briscoe passed away at 38-years-old today in an automobile accident. A flood of responses came pouring out of the pro wrestling world, and now AEW has commented on this sad event.
Tony Khan was the first to officially break the terrible news of Jay Briscoe’s passing. A while later, AEW’s official Twitter account sent out a custom graphic along with a message of condolence.

The Usos also commented on this sad passing. The Briscoes and The Usos never had a chance to meet in the ring, but fans always held that as a treasured dream match.
Jay Briscoe’s last tweet that he posted hours before his passing was a photo of himself with his brother, Mark Briscoe. That post received an outpouring of support from fans as they paid tribute to Jay Briscoe.
