Tony Khan was the first to officially break the terrible news of Jay Briscoe’s passing. A while later, AEW’s official Twitter account sent out a custom graphic along with a message of condolence.

ROH, the company that Jay Briscoe spent a majority of his career, also sent out a message that paid tribute to the late wrestler.

The Usos also commented on this sad passing. The Briscoes and The Usos never had a chance to meet in the ring, but fans always held that as a treasured dream match.

Jay Briscoe’s last tweet that he posted hours before his passing was a photo of himself with his brother, Mark Briscoe. That post received an outpouring of support from fans as they paid tribute to Jay Briscoe.
