Kushida moved to North America after an incredible stint with New Japan Pro Wrestling but failed to recreate his NJPW success in WWE. Kushida left WWE after his contract expired and returned to NJPW in 2022. He will be making his AEW debut next week.

AEW announced that Kushida will make his Dynamite debut against Darby Allin next Wednesday. The former IWGP Junior Heavyweight Champion will answer Darby’s open challenge for the TNT Championship.

Plus, Orange Cassidy will defend the AEW All-Atlantic Championship against Jay Lethal. The match was booked after Cassidy confronted Jay Lethal on the latest episode of AEW Rampage. Cassidy and Best Friends made the save for Paul Walter Hauser from Lethal, Jeff Jarrett, Sonjay Dutt, and Satnam Singh.

The Young Bucks will take on Top Flight (Dante Martin and Darius Martin) in tag team action as well. The Bucks and Kenny Omega won the AEW World Trios Tag Team Championship this past Wednesday on Dynamite.
