Vince McMahon was the Chairman of WWE for several years and ruled the company with an iron fist. That all ended abruptly earlier last year after he was accused of a hush money scandal. Recent reports suggested that McMahon plans on returning to WWE and that is exactly what happened as McMahon is back on the Board Of Directors of WWE. Right after that, the lead investigator into McMahon’s assault allegations resigned from the WWE Board.

Vince McMahon pulled a big power play by noting he is still WWE’s majority shareholder, and he got what he wanted in the end. Now that he is officially back on the Board Of Directors, things are already shaking up internally.

Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful took to Twitter and reported that Man Jit Singh, who was the leading investigator on the Vince McMahon investigation internally, has resigned from the WWE Board of Directors.

The WWE Board Of Directors also tried to stop Vince McMahon from returning. Regardless, Vince McMahon is officially back for the long run, so only time will tell whether WWE creative will end up reverting to what it once was, removing traces of Triple H’s handiwork.
